BLOG 6 Free topic related to the career. A reflection on any aspect of it. 170 words Changing Lives and Caring Too Much Teaching is a profession where you really can make a difference in a child’s life, oftentimes profoundly. You are with children for a good part of the day, longer than their parents are, in most cases. Young children, especially, will look at you as a role model and repeat what you say and do. You often may help a teen struggling to figure out what career path to take. You could also be lucky enough to become the teacher everyone remembers as the one who cared enough to make a difference. However, making a difference in children's lives takes tremendous dedication and hard work. Teaching can be an exhausting job; physically, mentally and emotionally. You are with other people's children longer than you are with your own family. It is hard not to take the needs of the children in your class home with you, and the emotions that go along with that.   BLOG 5 A photograph. Its story .                                                       This photograph is full of symbolism. There you can see my son with his kinesiology doctor. She is Argentinian and when she received my son he was only crawling with no hope of walking. Everybody told us that he would never walk due to a brain stroke he suffered when he was 2 days old.. However, she said, "do you allow me to use all the necessary tools and methodology to help him? Do you promise not to cry when he may cry? Do you commit to be regular when exercising? "We decided to go ahead because the only thing he wanted was to walk. She helped him to be stronger and positive, to fjght frustration and keep smiling no matter the pain or how tired he could be. The result?: After a couple of years, he finally started to walk by himself without ...

Post 3. My favourite piece of technology    What it is When you got it How you use it How often you use it Why you like it What life would be like without it. - 140 words minimum. - Include a picture.  - Comment on your teacher's post and 3 of your classmates’ blogs. My favourite piece of technology Technology is everywhere. I have different pieces of technology in my house. The one that I like the most is my Ipad. I bought it five years ago when I needed to attend a conference and I wanted to record as much as possible. I use it for saving documents and information in general, I can check and send emails, I can also take good pictures of what I need. I use mainly when I have to go away from my working place. I can be connected and I don't need a laptop for that. It is lighter and more comfortable and I can use it to play when I have some free time. Without it, I would be alive anyway but my life got less stressed when the Ipad appeared in my...

Level 3 - Post 2 (week 4) Why did you choose this career/study programme? I never understood that. After finishing my secondary education, I had to choose a career. I had a lot of possibilities: dentistry, lawyer, painter, etc. However, something  that I wrote in a copybook when I was in primary school was definite: I wanted to be a teacher of English. Coincidence?, destiny? I don't know....
